We will be exhibiting at the "16th COSME Tech [TOKYO]" (part of COSME Week 2026 TOKYO), held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from Wednesday, January 14, to Friday, January 16, 2026.
This exhibition is a specialized trade show bringing together all products necessary for cosmetic research, planning, and development, including raw materials, OEM services, containers, and packaging.
At our booth, under the concept "Why not make container caps out of paper?", we will propose new packaging solutions using our pulp injection molding technology, "D-PIM®." We plan to exhibit molded samples with specific features, including the "D-PIM® Screw Cap," which we successfully developed for the first time in the world.
【Main Features of D-PIM®】
- "Volatilization" + "Sealing": Scent control where the material itself breathes
D-PIM® is composed of fibrous pulp. The "gas permeability" and "capillary action" resulting from this unique microstructure allow for control, such as sealing the contents while gently releasing the scent outward. As a cap for air fresheners and aroma products, it offers a function as a "scented package" never seen before.
- "Oil Resistance": Reliable barrier performance realized as PFAS-free
By using plant-derived binders, it possesses excellent oil resistance at room temperature. We achieved oil resistance using only naturally derived ingredients without using any PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), which are increasingly regulated due to environmental and health risks. It can be used safely for containers holding skincare products, balms, hair waxes, etc., containing oil components.
- "Biodegradability" + "Environment": Strong when in use, returns to the soil when discarded
It possesses high biodegradability, decomposing in soil in about six months and in water in just a few hours, returning to nature without leaving microplastics. On the other hand, in daily use environments, it demonstrates durability comparable to plastic products, with shape retention confirmed for over 20 years under certain conditions. It is a circular material that "can be used with peace of mind while needed, and returns to nature when its role is over."
Please come and experience this "New Form of Paper" that balances functionality and environmental value directly at the venue. We sincerely look forward to your visit.
